Chardonnay Reserve

A highly reputed white variety originally from Burgundy. It is now the second most widely planted variety in Argentina. It makes wines of incredible richness and aromatic complexity.

Description

Winemaking techniques

The grapes are fermented in barrels then matured on the lees for six months before being blended and clarified in vats. We use the oxidative method for this wine, which is fermented entirely in barrels. Following fermentation, the wine is matured on the lees, we perform regular pumping over for six months, and then the wine is blended and bottled. Matured for six months in second-fill French oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Deep golden colour. Tropical fruit mingles delicately with mineral and citrus aromas. The oak has gently provided vanilla notes, and touches of fresh tobacco offer richness and complexity. It is delicious and creates a soft, deep density. The long, perfumed finish ensures perfect harmony between the flavours and the French oak barrel notes.
