Domaine Les Salices

Domaine des Salices is located in Minervois. It lies between the Montagne Noire to the north and the Mediterranean Sea, which is just 30 km to the south. We have two historic buildings on the estate: an authentic stone cellar and the magnificent 11th-century Saint-Etienne Romanesque chapel, standing amid the vines.
We are in a Vin de Pays d’Oc (or Pays d’Oc PGI) area, and the south-facing grapes ripen thanks to the intense sunshine. The warm wind blowing through the region helps to limit disease. The soil is limestone-clay on the plateau and sandier on the terraces alongside the ‘Argent Double’, the river that flows through the vineyard to the south of the estate.
