Les Hauts de Janeil are all wines that were created in the spirit that drives us at Mas Janeil. François Lurton has been working these vines since 2001 to create distinctive, aromatic wines.

Description

Winemaking techniques

Harvesting by hand. Pressing in a low-pressure pneumatic press (gentle extraction) and selection of the first juices. Fermentation at 15 to 18°C with yeast designed for rosé, revealing Syrah’s natural red fruit aromas. Maturation on fine lees. Bottled quickly to preserve freshness.

Tasting notes

Beautiful rose petal colour. An intense nose of currant, violet and white peach. Gourmet on the palate with red fruit shining through. A flavoursome and refreshing sensation with a finish toned by a touch of acidity.
