Gros Manseng

In Gascony, autumn extends seamlessly until November. The last grapes are therefore harvested overripe, allowing us to offer this medium-dry wine. It is beautifully rounded and offers up gourmet notes of pineapple, dried apricot and almond, as well as the livelier citrus aromas typical of Gros Manseng. The palate re-affirms this subtle blend of delicately sweet flavours, borne up by a fresh, vibrant finish.

Description

Winemaking techniques

Harvested in early November using a harvesting machine with picker. Winemaking: direct pressing, cold clarification of must then 15 days of fermentation at 18°C to 20°C. Maturation on fine lees.

Tasting notes

Beautiful, intense yellow colour with delicate touches of grey. Intense and complex nose born of a surprising pairing between the invigorating citrus and blackcurrant leaf and the overripe notes of pineapple, dried apricot and almond. This subtle blend of flavours reappears on the palate. The roundness from the sugar, borne up by beautiful freshness, enables a dynamic finish of grapefruit and apricot.
